Impregnating the Sky on the Fourth of July

fireworks of AmeriCIA

So, here I am…a dissenter preparing to partake in the ritual that is the Fourth of July fireworks display, lakeside. Why do I take part in such a fiasco when I am so rabidly anti-establishment? I’ll tell you why; It’s because though I do not agree with the current direction of this country’s development (or descent [not to be confused with dissent]) I do, however, believe in the fundamentals of what this country was founded upon. I don’t agree with Federal Income Tax as it’s an unapportioned tax that is not constitutional, but I DO believe in the people’s right to keep and bear arms. Without the visionary minds that developed this system of governing we might not have any hope of liberty of any kind.

And as it is we are losing freedoms every day and the government is getting more and more personal.

Why do we need to have RFID chips installed in our passports? It’s certainly not for our own protection. If we lose our passport the powers that be are certainly not going to use their available resources to locate that passport for us with the RFID chip. So what then becomes the purpose of these tracking devices? You can say that I am a paranoid, but in the words of the late great Kurt Cobain, “Just because you’re paranoid…it don’t mean they’re not after you.”

And so, I’m going to go watch the local Chamber of Commerce blow up a bunch of fireworks in the sky re-enacting an impregnation (i.e. semen entering into the womb) which is more akin to what this celebration is really symbolic of anyway. I’m just trying to be honest and look at things for what they truly are. I’m not here to give you the history and/or the ins/outs/whys of the Fourth of July…just my opinionated opinion (and it is opinionated). So, what did you do? Did you stay at home and worry about the stock market? Did you invest in gold? Did you hide under the covers and shirk at the thought of the coming economic collapse or did you go out and do a little living for Christ’s sake? I for one am not going to miss an opportunity to get out and mingle with the sheeple. Even though I think most of them are doomed for lack of mental discernment and objective criticism, I believe I’d prefer spending my time getting to know the innumerable strangers of the world to sitting at home and watch strangers on TV.

So, it’s 2008, four years from the dreaded 2012 deadline…did you go out and greet your fellows or did you sulk? Well, I for one have no more time to sit and write this blog. I’ve got mingling to do. Syonara!
