Immediately following the 9/11 attacks, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) made a declaration that the air was safe to breath. It was later revealed that this was not in fact true as the air was contaminated with asbestos and lead from the twin towers collapse. This compromised the health of the many rescue workers and what’s more the local children were returned to school in the same area under unsafe conditions. It wasn’t so much that the administration messed up. No, it was a blatant lie they created in order to get the stock exchange up and running once again. Were stocks worth the lives of thousands more of the United States of America’s citizens? This kind of disregard for human life is the earmark of the supposed terrorists responsible for the 9/11 attacks in the first place. And George W Bush and other’s expect us to believe that the government is not capable of orchestrating such an attack? This kind of wanton disregard for human safety is an example of how little concern the powers that be have for us individually.

So, who needs enemies when this is how they treat our heroes?
